Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support our game development and live operations teams, automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will ensure our online services and game backend are reliable, scalable, and secure.
You’ll work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to help us deploy faster, minimize downtime, and deliver seamless experiences to millions of players.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge of Linux
- Experience with continuous integration / delivery implementation (Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitbucket) and DevOps practices
- Previous experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Good understanding of core components of AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Docker (building images, optimization, scaling, automation, registry, clustering)
- Great problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Good English
We would appreciate if you have:
- Experience with Python/Perl (or any other scripting language)
- General understanding of how APIs work
- Knowledge of network (firewalls, protocols and routing)
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Proficiency in managing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and system administration
Nice‑to‑Have for Game Industry:
- Experience with multiplayer server infrastructure (e.g., Photon, PlayFab, Nakama, or custom game servers)
- Familiarity with game engine build pipelines (Unity, Unreal)
- Understanding of backend scaling for high‑traffic environments (MMOs, battle royale, etc.)
- Knowledge of CDN and latency optimization for global game delivery
