Summary
DevOps II engineer at Safe Software maintaining and improving AWS-based public cloud infrastructure for its cloud applications: updating infrastructure as code, optimizing AWS costs, analyzing CI/CD pipelines, writing automation scripts, and remediating security issues using Docker, Kubernetes, and Python/PowerShell/Bash.
Build secure public cloud infrastructure at Safe Software using AWS, Kubernetes, and automation. This DevOps Engineer role supports Cloud applications.
As a DevOps II, you will maintain infrastructure and pipelines supporting application development, testing, and delivery. You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, scripting languages, databases, and SQL. The team uses monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement to support reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update infrastructure using infrastructure as code principles
- Optimize AWS usage through monitoring and cost-saving improvements
- Analyze and improve CI/CD pipelines for faster developer feedback
- Develop scripts and automations supporting repeatable pipeline operations
- Remediate infrastructure-related security issues and maintain Cloud capabilities
Requirements:
- Two to three years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
- Knowledge of Docker and or Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, and or Bash scripting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience
