DevOps Engineer – Python, Jenkins & Terraform
Summary
DevOps Engineer building and maintaining cloud-based environments (primarily GCP) and CI/CD pipelines for a regulatory electronic communication surveillance platform, automating infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible and scripting in Python, Bash, and Groovy. On-site role in Kraków.
The Group Electronic Communication Surveillance (GECS) solution, managed by MSS IT Surveillance, provides regulatory electronic communication surveillance capabilities for clients globally. It analyzes electronic communications, including emails and instant messages, and applies regulatory and client-specific policies to ensure compliance.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable cloud-based environments, automate infrastructure and operational workflows, and ensure system reliability, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and environments to support internal projects.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash/Shell, and Groovy.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Support cloud-native platforms and services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automate operational workflows to ensure systems remain compliant, secure, and up to date.
- Apply DevSecOps principles throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and perform root cause analysis for major or recurring incidents.
- Develop and implement remediation plans to improve system stability and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to manage operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement in system reliability and security.
