DevOps Engineer (Relocation OR 100% travel to St. Louis, MO)
Summary
DevOps Engineer builds and maintains automated pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized environments for federal IT systems, using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Azure.
You are:
The work:
- Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines, automated deployments, and workflow orchestration.
- Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Implement Configuration as Code with Ansible and develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash.
- Manage containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Podman, or Helm.
- Create and maintain virtual images using Docker or Packer.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and develop automated test scripts using pytest, unittest, Selenium, or Terratest.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute throughout the full development lifecycle.
Here's what you need:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, software development, or related technical roles.
- Experience scripting or programming in Unix, Linux, or Windows environments.
- Hands‑on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience with configuration/automation tools like Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and DevOps architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms.
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Experience troubleshooting production workloads and using monitoring tools.
- Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Prior experience in collaborative or cross-functional development environments.

You must live local to St. Louis, MO (preferred) or willing to travel to St. Louis.
