DevOps Engineer
Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer owning GCP production infrastructure end-to-end — designing Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes setups with Terraform, plus CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security hardening, and supporting backend tasks. Requires 5+ years in DevOps/cloud engineering, B2 English, remote-first.
Remedy is looking for a Senior Devops Engineer who takes full ownership of what they build — from the infrastructure the code runs on in production to supporting BE tasks.
You have strong multi-cloud experience: you've configured databases, set up application infrastructure, and made the architectural decisions behind it, not just maintained what was already there. Your Terraform work goes beyond running commands: you've designed and built infrastructure end-to-end and understand the tradeoffs in every choice you've made. On the backend, you're comfortable in supporting BE tasks if needed.
What you will do
Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure — Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage — with a focus on reliability and scalability
Write and manage Terraform modules end-to-end: not just applying configurations, but making the infrastructure decisions behind them
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment across environments
Monitor system performance, configure alerts, and respond to infrastructure incidents
- Endpoint & Infrastructure Audits: Conduct regular endpoint security audits and vulnerability assessments across all environments.
- Standardize, lock down, and secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) configurations and Kubernetes clusters against evolving threats.
Manage environment configuration across development, staging, and production
Contribute to backend features and API-level tasks alongside the engineering team
Collaborate with backend engineers on infrastructure-adjacent code — deployment scripts, environment setup, service configuration
Participate in code and infrastructure reviews that maintain engineering quality standards
Document infrastructure decisions, runbooks, and deployment processes
5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related field
Solid AWS/GCP experience: you've built and configured production infrastructure, not just operated existing environments
Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from end to end
Comfortable with containerization
1 year of experience in backend development — willingness to contribute to BE tasks is a must
Excellent communication skills with a minimum B2 level of English
Comfortable working in fast-moving, cross-functional teams
- Competitive compensation
- Remote first work environment

- Healthcare
- Connectivity
