For a leading organization in robotics and agritech, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Linux environments, containerized applications, and deployment strategies.
The company is a global market leader in the agricultural sector and develops advanced technological solutions used worldwide. Within an international development environment, work is focused on optimizing and modernizing an existing PC-based platform that is deployed globally.
The focus of this role is the migration of an existing Windows-based platform towards Linux, with a strong emphasis on containerization, deployment, scalability, and maintainability. You will work closely with development teams and contribute to improving the stability and future‑proofing of the platform.
In this role, you act as a hands‑on technical specialist within the development team, helping to shape architecture decisions while supporting the practical implementation of the migration and deployment processes.
Your responsibilities
- Support the migration of an existing Windows platform to Linux;
- Contribute to architecture and deployment strategy decisions;
- Develop and maintain container-based installations;
- Support deployment on globally distributed industrial PC systems;
- Transfer knowledge and best practices to the internal development team;
- Improve the stability, maintainability, and scalability of the platform;
- Work closely with software engineers and technical stakeholders in an international environment.
Your profile
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred;
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role like DevOps Engineer, Containerization Engineer or Platform Engineer;
- Strong experience with Docker and/or Podman;
- Experience with containerized applications and Linux ecosystems;
- Experience with migration projects from existing software platforms;
- A software engineering mindset with a practical and hands‑on approach;
- Strong communication skills and team orientation;
- Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus but not a requirement.
