DevOps Engineer Role Details

Newesis srl, based in Turin, Italy, is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience to automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud environments. The role is located in Turin with hybrid onboarding and subsequent Smart Working, and offers a salary range of 30,000–35,000 Euro.

You will design automation scripts, manage IaC with Terraform, maintain cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes.

Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline software development, testing, and deployment processes. IaC: Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform across various cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP). Cloud Platform Management: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability. GitOps Implementation: Utilize ArgoCD for declarative, Git-centric continuous delivery to Kubernetes clusters. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps to enable rapid and reliable software delivery. Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and implement DevOps best practices. Monitoring & Logging: Assist in setting up and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure. Troubleshooting: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools. 1-2 years of practical experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies. Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP); familiarity with multiple is a strong plus. Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Familiarity with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools. Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with version control systems, especially Git. Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken) is essential.
