DevOps Engineer
You will evolve DevOps and platform engineering across deployment pipelines, monitoring, infrastructure as code, and cloud cost optimization. You will build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines; improve observability; implement FinOps governance; create internal tooling; define SLOs; and collaborate with engineering, security, finance, and product stakeholders to improve reliability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve DevOps and platform engineering across build and deployment pipelines, monitoring, infrastructure as code, and cost optimization.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve observability through Datadog, GCP, custom dashboards, and FinOps-focused outcomes.
- Implement and maintain FinOps governance, including showback and chargeback models.
- Create internal tooling and reusable modules to improve developer productivity.
- Help teams define and measure SLOs.
- Define cost-effective architectural patterns for new services and features.
- Shape DevOps best practices and the long-term DevOps roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, finance, and product teams to align technical spending with financial goals.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python or Go and strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience owning production infrastructure and platform tooling, debugging distributed systems, and diagnosing financial spikes.
- Experience designing secure, robust infrastructure for stringent regulatory environments.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with GCP or another major cloud provider and cloud cost management.
- Experience with FinOps tooling or custom cost-allocation and reporting tooling.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling.
- Experience with Prometheus or Datadog and participation in an on-call rotation.
