Role Description
The DevOps Engineer will work full time on‑site in Florianópolis, SC, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include building and managing cloud environments, developing and optimizing CI/CD workflows, and automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration. The role involves monitoring systems, improving observability, and troubleshooting performance, reliability, and security issues in production environments. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing, helping clients adopt modern DevOps methodologies and tools in a consistent, scalable way.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, with experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python, Go, or Bash) to build tooling, integrations, and automation.
- Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using platforms like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Candidates should possess System Administration and Linux skills, including managing, hardening, and troubleshooting Linux-based servers and services in production environments.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry), and security best practices in infrastructure and application operations.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and clients are highly valued.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or system engineering, is preferred.
