DevOps Engineer, ServiceNow
Summary
Maintains and automates ServiceNow infrastructure, builds IaC/Config-as-Code pipelines, and ensures stable, secure operations via CI/CD and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Engineering, operation and optimization of ServiceNow services and platforms
- Ensuring stability, availability, quality and security in operations
- Automation of processes via APIs and CI/CD
- Development and operation of Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code solutions
- Support in incident, problem and change management according to established processes
Requirements
- Degree (University/FH/HF) in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure, as well as in operating server operating systems and relational databases
- Practical experience in automation and CI/CD, for example with Ansible and Git-based pipelines
- Experience with enterprise platforms, ideally ServiceNow On-Premises, including API integration, monitoring and logging
- Analytical and structured, with a passion for solving complex technical problems
- Self-driven, reliable and quality-conscious; you promote continuous improvement
- Team player and communicative, with the ability to coordinate across team and functional boundaries
- Excellent written and spoken German; English is an advantage
