DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer ensures the reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure and manages the automation initiatives for software development and IT operation improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain optimal AWS infrastructure cost without compensating the quality, performance, availability, and reliability
• Optimal utilization of DevOps environments, resources, and tools
• Maintain the infrastructure at acceptable user experience
• Resolve performance, availability, and infrastructure-related live issues with minimal downtime.
• Adopt industry standard, effective, and relevant DevOps culture and practices.
• Document DevOps solutions and runbooks
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering, or any related field or equivalent experience
• Two (2) or more years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar Software Engineering role
• Good understanding of AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SQS, IAM) and networking concepts and implementation in cloud (VPC)
• Knowledgeable in cloud architecture and security best practices
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge with different databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)
• Proven experience in monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Datadog, etc.)
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Linux and/or Windows administration and scripting (Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell)
• Preferably with experience in integrating SAST into pipelines (SonarQube, Snyk)
• Willing to work in MOA Square, Pasay City
