Devops Engineer

Salary: $30,000 – $32,000 per month

About the role

Work closely with the project team to translate business and operational requirements into technical network specifications and automation workflows. Develop and maintain Network as Code solutions using technologies such as Python and Ansible to support network provisioning, configuration, validation, and operational automation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Network as Code solutions using technologies such as Python and Ansible to support network provisioning, configuration, validation, and operational automation

• Support the implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and enhancement of network automation solutions throughout the project lifecycle

• Collaborate with network engineers and other technical specialists to ensure automation solutions are aligned with network architecture, operational procedures, and security requirements

• Support network-related resources required for project delivery, excluding dedicated Firewall and Load Balancer specialists

• Ensure assigned network-related resources remain fully dedicated to the Project during the delivery phase and are not concurrently allocated to other projects or engagements

• Prepare and maintain relevant technical documentation, automation scripts, playbooks, and implementation materials

• Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer activities as required

About you

• Minimum 3 years of software development or automation development experience, with hands-on experience in Python and/or Ansible

• Experience in network automation, network engineering, or network operations is preferred

• Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, DNS, and network configuration management is an advantage

• Experience in developing automation scripts, Ansible playbooks, APIs, or integration solutions is an advantage

• Strong self-learning and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies, tools, and customer environments

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customer stakeholders and technical teams

• Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including overtime, when required to support project implementation, testing, or deployment activities
