DevOps Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for automated deployments.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, containerization, and monitoring tools. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with software development teams to improve deployment processes and release management.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of networking, security, DNS, SSL, and load balancing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) are an advantage.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
