About the role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, reliable, and efficient cloud infrastructure, platform capabilities, and CI/CD pipelines to support global software delivery.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment. Manage branching, version control, and toolchain integrations (Git, build systems, release management tools).
Provision and manage Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates). Oversee subscriptions, resource groups, access control, cost optimization, and system performance.
Support containerised application delivery using Docker and Kubernetes. Manage container registries and platform services utilized by development and QA teams.
Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Apply DevOps security best practices and adhere to compliance standards.
Partner with cross-functional development, QA, and delivery teams to ensure seamless delivery. Lead troubleshooting and incident management across Dev/Test environments.
Automate operational tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting. Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies and industry best practices.
About you
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or software delivery roles.
Ability to work independently and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, resource management, and CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform and ARM templates.
Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container registries.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
Familiarity with .NET and Node.js application delivery pipelines.
Understanding of DevOps security, access control, and compliance practices.
Desirable: Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Desirable: Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).
