About the Role

TeKnowledge is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its AI-Native Engineering team and support the development of innovative financial technology solutions. The role focuses on improving software delivery, automation, infrastructure, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and architects to identify bottlenecks and improve development processes.
• Set up and maintain development and production environments.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure processes.
• Monitor system metrics, troubleshoot issues, and report incidents.
• Support application deployments across appropriate environments.
• Develop and maintain platform configuration and troubleshooting processes.
• Establish coding and automation standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–4 years of coding/scripting experience, preferably with large-scale cloud architectures and container platforms.
• Experience with Linux, SQL, PL/SQL, scripting, and containers.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is an advantage.
• Experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer in an Agile environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and continuous learning.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Must have completed NYSC or possess an exemption certificate.
• Valid and up-to-date National Identity Card/NIMC slip required upon commencement.
