DevOps Engineer
Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS/OCI, automate CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and manage Kubernetes/Docker environments with Terraform and observability tools.
As a DevOps Engineer at Virtuosoft, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving our cloud infrastructure. You’ll manage containerized environments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and ensure robust networking and security practices across all environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Configure and manage networking components: routing, firewalls, security groups, and IPsec VPN tunnels.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
Automate operational workflows using Bash and Python scripting.
Monitor infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Datadog, and Kibana.
Centralize and analyze logs with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues proactively.
Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and resolve incidents promptly.
Key Requirements:
Strong networking knowledge: routing, VPNs, IPsec tunnels, firewalls, and security best practices.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Solid understanding of Linux systems administration.
Proven experience managing Docker and Kubernetes in production.
Strong background in CI/CD, preferably with GitHub Actions.
Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Datadog, Kibana, and other observability tools.
Experience managing ELK Stack for centralized logging.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
Certifications in AWS, OCI, or Kubernetes.
Experience with security hardening and compliance.
Familiarity with GitOps or declarative deployment methodologies.
Qualifications:
BSCS / BSIT from a reputable university.
5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
