Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Project: OpenVault

Shift: Regular working hours
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters, including bare-metal environments.
- Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycle activities, including node management, etcd backup and recovery, cluster upgrades, and capacity optimization.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, pod scheduling, resource constraints, container failures, networking, storage, and node health.
- Diagnose Linux operating system and network-level issues involving DNS, routing, firewalls, TCP/IP, load balancers, and connectivity.
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins, Ingress controllers, CoreDNS, NetworkPolicies, and bare-metal load balancing.
- Deploy, administer, and optimize PostgreSQL and Apache Cassandra clusters, including backup and recovery, replication, high availability, failover, scaling, and performance tuning.
- Manage persistent storage for stateful workloads using PVs, PVCs, StorageClasses, CSI drivers, and on-premises storage solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather technical requirements, conduct infrastructure-sizing discussions, and recommend appropriate compute, memory, storage, IOPS, and network configurations.
- Prepare deployment architectures, infrastructure-sizing documents, technical recommendations, operational runbooks, and status reports.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures.
- Enforce security best practices, including OS hardening, patching, Kubernetes RBAC, TLS, and secrets management.
- Lead technical activities and coordinate a team of at least six resources, including task allocation, troubleshooting, and delivery coordination.
