Requirements:
  • We are looking for strong experience with OpenTofu or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • We need hands-on expertise with AKS, including cluster operations, node pools and autoscaling, ingress, cert-manager, CNI, and workload deployment patterns.
  • We require experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Front Door, API Management, Azure DNS, Key Vault, MSI, networking, and identity or Azure Entra ID.
  • We need monitoring experience with Datadog, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.
  • We require skilled scripting and automation ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • We need proficiency with Azure DevOps, including repos, pipelines, and artifacts.
  • We require solid understanding of Azure networking, DNS, private endpoints, and certificate or secret management.
  • We need strong debugging and operational experience with an SRE mindset.
  • We require solid experience in DevSecOps architecture, processes, and tooling.
  • We need a solid understanding of observability processes and tooling, including logging, metrics, traces, and dashboards.
  • We value experience with GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD.
  • We value experience with zero-downtime deployments, including blue/green and canary patterns.
  • We value Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400.

Responsibilities:
  • We will have you maintain and extend Infrastructure as Code modules using OpenTofu.
  • We will have you implement reusable, parameterized templates for Azure infrastructure.
  • We will have you automate environment provisioning across development and production.
  • We will have you manage backend state, pipelines, and state-change detection integrations.
  • We will have you own and improve reliability, observability, and performance of the platform.
  • We will have you implement SLOs, alerting, dashboards, and auto-remediation where possible.
  • We will have you troubleshoot cluster-level, networking, and workload deployment issues.
  • We will have you lead root cause analysis and drive long-term reliability improvements.
  • We will have you develop automation scripts and tooling in PowerShell.
  • We will have you build and optimize Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
  • We will have you integrate automated testing, security scanning, and automated rollout strategies such as blue/green or canary where appropriate.
  • We will have you work in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps for planning and tracking.
  • We will have you collaborate closely with developers, platform engineers, and security.
  • We may have you participate in on-call rotations if required.
