The Enterprise Content Synchronization Platform team is responsible for designing, building, and operating a scalable capability that ensures business critical content is synchronized, validated, and transparently monitored.

The platform addresses current challenges around missing or outdated procedure content by providing:

• Automated validation and monitoring
• Improved visibility into synchronization health

The team operates XML driven systems that form a critical part of the enterprise content ecosystem. The focus is on automation, reliability, and operational excellence, rather than UI development or content authoring.

Role Overview

As a Platform / DevOps Engineer in the XML Platforms team, you will focus on the operation and stability of XML based platforms supporting content synchronization and validation. The role has a strong emphasis on platform reliability, automation, packaging, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring that solutions run in a predictable, scalable, and supportable way.

You will work closely with other platform developers and operations teams to support production systems and continuously improve automation, monitoring, and operational robustness.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support XML driven platforms used for content synchronization and validation
• Automate system configuration, deployment, and operational tasks
• Build and maintain Linux based packaging and deployment flows
• Support and operate cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform level and operational issues in XML pipelines
• Contribute to monitoring, stability, and operational readiness of systems

Must Have

• Strong hands on experience with XQuery and XPath
• Solid experience with XML databases (e.g. MarkLogic, BaseX, eXist db)
• Good understanding of XML data modeling xgiwjmb and querying

Should Have

• Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Experience creating and managing RPM packages
• Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Could Have

• Working knowledge of Java applications (runtime behavior, configuration, operational support)

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience working in production support and platform operations environments
• Ability to work independently in distributed/off-site teams
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Immediate or early joiners preferred
