Detailed Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies. You will work closely with development, operations, cloud, and security teams to automate provisioning, standardize deployments, and improve platform reliability across cloud and on-premises environments. The role requires deep technical expertise in Azure infrastructure, Terraform, Ansible, automation frameworks, and infrastructure governance. You will contribute to cloud transformation initiatives, implement security and compliance controls, optimize operational processes, and support enterprise-grade deployment pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure-native technologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and secure infrastructure templates and modules.
• Implement and manage Azure infrastructure services across enterprise environments.
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Operations, and Security teams to deliver automated solutions.
• Implement infrastructure testing, validation, governance, and compliance controls.
• Manage infrastructure source code repositories using Git and version-control best practices.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and operational health.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, and deployment-related issues.
• Optimize platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and services.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience managing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
• Solid networking knowledge including Subnets, VLANs, Routing, Firewalls, and DNS.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, access controls, and encryption standards.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong experience with Git and source code management workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Prometheus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing DevOps and automation best practices within enterprise environments.
