DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

Owns and optimizes cloud infrastructure for a marketing-tech company, focusing on AWS automation, security, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines to support scaling ad-tech services.

We build services, tools, and infrastructure that help the marketing business grow and scale. Each day, we tackle complex technical and operational challenges to help Ad teams push boundaries and achieve greater success.
We are now looking for an experienced engineer to take ownership of the company’s cloud infrastructure. The initial challenges will include auditing and structuring existing resources, automating deployment and management of cloud environments, setting up centralized monitoring, and strengthening security.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency

Automate to enhance system resilience and minimize manual effort

Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems

Build and support infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines

Manage backup and recovery processes, including automation and testing

Conduct regular security audits and implement improvements

Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure design and deployment for new applications

Maintain existing infrastructure in line with SLAs and performance targets

Provide on-call support, troubleshoot incidents, and minimize downtime

Experience and skills
4+ years of experience in IT, including 2+ years as a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer

Comprehensive understanding of AWS services like VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, ALB, CloudFront etc., or similar experience with other cloud providers

Knowledge of containerization and Docker

Experience in establishing monitoring and alerting systems and using them to notify teams about emerging issues

Knowledge of networks and security (VPN, routing, firewalls)

Experience with automation infrastructure management and provisioning with the IaC approach

Good understanding of SDLC and CI/CD processes

Basic coding skills (Bash, Groovy, HCL, TS, Python)

Knowledge of Unix/Linux based systems

Knowledge of Git

Ability to take full ownership of projects

Proficiency in collaboration, and strong attention to detail
