DevOps - Infrastructure Engineer
Summary
Designs, deploys, and maintains cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using IaC tools like Terraform and Kubernetes, while automating CI/CD pipelines and monitoring with GitLab, Datadog, and Prometheus.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Bachelors degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud computing platforms AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and services such as
- virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Additional certifications or qualifications in relevant areas AWS cloud computing, database management) would be a plus.
- 5+ years in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Experience managing large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional -
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA: Expertise in Kubernetes cluster management.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer CKAD: Proficiency in Kubernetes-native application development
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK for IaC.
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, Azure Resource Manager).
- Expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus for monitoring.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes K8s and EKS cluster management.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to write clean, reusable code.
