DevOps Lead

We're partnering with an innovative technology company that's expanding its engineering function and looking for a DevOps Lead to drive cloud infrastructure, automation, platform reliability, and DevOps best practices. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the DevOps function and influence the company's engineering roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Drive DevOps best practices by building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
- Champion platform reliability, security, monitoring and disaster recovery across production environments.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering teams to improve delivery, release management and operational excellence.
- Mentor and guide a small DevOps team while contributing hands-on to technical solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 8 years of DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience, with experience leading technical teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and container technologies (Docker/ECS).
- Proven experience building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or Node.js, with an automation-first mindset.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as Financial Services, FinTech or other security-focused industries will be an added advantage.
