DevOps Platform Engineer

Summary

Build and operate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and container-based platform capabilities for a banking client's Developer Experience team, including on-call support. Core tech includes Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub, and major cloud platforms.

We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer to one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Start date: 2025-12-01
End date: 2027-12-31
Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the assignment:
You will join the Developer Experience area, building and operating platform capabilities that support software development across the organisation. The role is hands-on and involves engineering critical systems with a strong focus on reliability, automation, and standardisation. You will work in a shared responsibility model, including operational duties and on-call support.

Core Responsibilities:

• Build, improve, and operate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code solutions
• Maintain and support business-critical platform systems and container-based environments
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable platform capabilities
• Participate in on-call rotation and shift-based support activities

Profile:

• Senior-level experience in DevOps and platform engineering
• Background in banking, finance, or other regulated industries is beneficial
• Strong focus on automation, reliability, and operational excellence
• Experience working in shared responsibility and collaborative engineering models

Skills & Qualifications:

• Infrastructure as Code (e.g, Terraform)
• Server operating systems (Linux and/or Windows)
• GitHub and modern source control workflows
• Artifact management (e.g., Artifactory or similar tools)
• Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
• Containers and Kubernetes
• Scripting and automation
