DevOps / Platform Engineer (KLI-66)
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Ownership: Work directly with senior engineers to take ownership of systems, ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of our core platform.
- Infrastructure Automation: Build, maintain, and continuously improve automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to eliminate repetitive work.
- CI/CD & Deployment: Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, reliable deployment workflows.
- Production Operations: Take an active role in production operations, log analysis, system troubleshooting, and participating in incident response and support activities.
- Documentation & Support: Produce high-quality, clear technical documentation and interact professionally with internal/external customers when required.
Technical Requirements
- Uses Linux, macOS, or another Unix-like environment as their primary daily operating system.
- Strong command-line proficiency, server administration, and solid networking fundamentals.
- Competent in log analysis, troubleshooting, and shell tooling.
- Mandatory strong Git skills.
- Fully comfortable with branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
- Practical, hands-on production experience with Kubernetes is required (including Deployments, Services, Ingress, Secrets, ConfigMaps, Resource Management, Scaling, and Troubleshooting).
- Strong experience managing Azure environments, specifically: AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure networking, managed services, diagnostics, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Practical experience implementing GitOps workflows using platforms such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
- Experience building/maintaining pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent automation tools.
- Solid understanding of modern observability and monitoring suites (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to track metrics, tracing, alerts, and health probes.
