DevOps Platform Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains Kubernetes-based platforms, automates CI/CD pipelines, and supports enterprise application deployments using cloud tools like AWS/Azure.
We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer to join a platform engineering team responsible for onboarding enterprise applications to Kubernetes and improving software delivery processes. The role focuses on platform engineering, CI/CD automation, deployment pipelines, and cloud technologies, working closely with development teams to build scalable, reliable, and automated application delivery in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
• Onboard applications onto Kubernetes environments
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Prepare deployment environments using automation and scripting
• Manage application deployment processes
• Configure and administer Kubernetes environments
• Work closely with development teams following Agile methodologies
• Support application integration across development, testing and production environments
• Cooperate with Security, Middleware and Linux teams
• Participate in change management processes
• Prepare technical documentation and platform standards
• Support cloud adoption where appropriate
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of commercial DevOps experience
• Strong Kubernetes experience
• Strong knowledge of Docker
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with GitLab
• Experience using Git
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps
• Experience onboarding Spring Boot and frontend applications to Kubernetes
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Scripting experience in at least one of Java, Bash or Python
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Fluent Polish is mandatory
• Good English
