DevOps / SysOps Engineer – Remote (Netherlands + Germany)

Ezwim, a Netherlands-based company within the global Harris Computer family and Constellation Software group, is seeking a proactive DevOps / SysOps Engineer to operate, secure, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.

Location: Remote (Netherlands + Germany)
Type of Employment: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Operations
    • Manage cloud infrastructure, networking, DNS, certificates, VPN, and security controls.
    • Ensure platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Platform Engineering & Automation
    • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible.
    • Manage CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and deployment processes.
    • Support application deployments and platform integrations.
    • Administer and secure Linux-based environments (Oracle Linux and Ubuntu).
  • Monitoring & Reliability
    • Maintain observability, alerting, and operational dashboards.
    • Improve incident response, root‑cause analysis, and operational excellence.
  • AIOps & Innovation
    • Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted tooling where it delivers measurable value.
    • Help drive the evolution from traditional DevOps towards intelligent operations.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on DevOps, SysOps, or Cloud Operations background.
  • Linux administration – Oracle Linux and/or Ubuntu.
  • OCI or comparable hyperscaler experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or Ansible.
  • CI/CD with Jenkins and GitLab; Kubernetes cluster operations.
  • Networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS/PKI, VPN, load balancing.
  • AI & AIOps orientation – key differentiator.
  • Genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping infrastructure.
  • Familiar with AIOps, MLOps, or AI‑in‑DevOps trends.
  • Comfortable working with AI coding assistants and evaluating their output critically.
  • Self‑starter, analytical, and a strong troubleshooter.
  • Clear communicator – technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; collaborative and knowledge‑sharing by nature.
  • Fluent in English (Russian and Dutch are a plus).
