DevOps Systems Engineer (Linux, Jenkins / Grafana)
Salary: $30,000 – $45,000 per month
Key responsibilities
Configure, maintain and optimise network and server infrastructure within GCIS and on-premises environments
Develop and maintain automation scripts, deployment pipelines and operational workflows to improve system efficiency and reliability
Perform system administration, platform configuration, testing and troubleshooting activities
Prepare and execute unit testing, integration testing, test plans, technical specifications and operational guidelines
Monitor system performance, logging and alerting mechanisms to ensure service availability and operational excellence
Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance and enhancement for production and non-production environments
Perform other duties and IT-related tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
At least 3 years experience in DevOps tools (such as experience in Jenkins, Gitea, Grafana, Prometheus, Lok etc.) , cloud infrastructure, networking and system administration
Hands-on experience in implementing DevOps practices and managing the full DevOps lifecycle for enterprise IT systems
Experience in automating system deployment, configuration, operation, monitoring and logging using scripts and DevOps tools
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, source code management and infrastructure automation
Strong scripting and automation skills using Linux Shell Scripting, Python or similar technologies
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and resolve technical issues efficiently
Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
