DevOps Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to drive our cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines and deployment operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, container orchestration and DevOps best practices, along with experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor the DevOps engineering team and oversee day-to-day operations.

- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.

- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.

- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, scalability and security.

- Implement automated deployment, monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.

- Collaborate with development, QA, security and operations teams.

- Establish DevOps best practices, governance, disaster recovery and backup strategies.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and system reliability.

Required Technical Skills:

- Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation

- Scripting: Python, Bash, Shell

- Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket

- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog

- Operating Systems: Linux, Windows Server

- Security: DevSecOps, IAM, vulnerability management

Experience & Qualifications:

- 6 - 11 years of overall IT experience.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience.

- Experience leading or mentoring a team of DevOps engineers.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and microservices.

- Experience managing production-grade infrastructure.

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.

Preferred Certifications:

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

- Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
