Core stack is Check Point (with mandatory CCSE certification), plus hands-on Palo Alto and Fortinet work.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Security Architect / Engineer (Lisbon) to join our team in a hybrid setup. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, migrating, and optimizing robust network security solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Check Point technologies, hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet, and a proven track record of handling complex enterprise security projects and advanced troubleshooting.
Security Implementation & Evolution: Implement, configure, and manage network security solutions across both Cloud and On-Premises environments.
Architecture & Migration: Lead security architecture evolution, technological upgrades, and complex firewall migrations.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization for core network security infrastructure.
Integration: Seamlessly integrate firewalls and security appliances with broader enterprise cloud and network infrastructures.
Technical Consultancy: Act as a subject matter expert, offering technical guidance on complex security projects.
Network & Security Expertise:
Deep knowledge of IP Networks, IPv4, IPv6, and Data Networks.
Strong foundation in Advanced Architectures and Integration Infrastructure.
Experience: Proven track record in a Senior role managing complex network security implementations and infrastructure projects.
Academic Background: Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proactive & Results-Driven: Strong focus on quality, timely delivery, and proactive problem-solving.
Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and professional approach.
Adaptable: Creative and innovative mindset capable of handling complex and high-pressure troubleshooting scenarios.
Certifications:
Mandatory: Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE).
Preferred: Advanced security certifications from Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent vendor certifications.
