DevSecOps Engineer Melbourne CBD | 6-Month Contract | 3 Days Onsite | Potential Permanent OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to help drive secure software development practices across a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, remediate, and refactor code across Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, and VBA
- Improve legacy and inherited codebases through secure coding and testing practices
- Implement secrets management, source control governance, and repository standards
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with security, quality, and compliance controls
- Develop and promote secure development standards and best practices
- Strong DevSecOps, Application Security, or Secure Software Engineering experience
- Hands-on background with CI/CD, code reviews, and secure development practices
- Ability to work across technical and stakeholder-facing initiatives
- 6-month contract with potential to convert to a permanent role
- Melbourne CBD location near Southern Cross Station
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 days onsite)
- Australian Citizenship is essential
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain an AGSVA Security Clearance (minimum AC eligibility required)
