DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

The DevSecOps Engineer designs, builds, and maintains secure CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks while integrating cybersecurity controls throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Integrate security testing into development workflows.
  • Support containerized and cloud-native environments.
  • Automate deployment and configuration management processes.
  • Monitor system performance and security posture.
  • Support continuous compliance initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Cloud platform certifications.
  • Experience with security automation.
  • Knowledge of PAM and IAM integrations.
  • Experience in regulated environments.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of DevSecOps or cloud engineering experience.

Job Stipulations

  • Availability for production deployment support as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.

Recommended Clearance Language

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Must comply with all customer background investigation requirements.
