DevSecOps Platform Operations Lead

Lead DevOps initiatives to streamline the software development lifecycle improving developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations, governance and continuous improvement of the Open Source Software (OSS) platform, ensuring that the service remains secure, reliable, compliant and aligned with organizational requirements.

• Manage OSS onboarding, software component assessment, policy enforcement and exception handling in accordance with applicable security, licensing, architecture and risk requirements.

• Partner with application, security, risk, architecture and procurement teams to promote the responsible adoption and use of open-source software across Group Office and Local Business Units.

• Monitor OSS platform availability, performance, capacity, integrations and service quality, and proactively address operational risks or service degradation.

• Provide operational support for DevOps platforms, including source code management, CI/CD, artifact management, container technologies and related developer tooling.

• Implement and maintain automation, monitoring and operational controls to improve platform security, reliability, scalability, support efficiency and user experience.

• Lead incident investigation, service restoration and root-cause analysis for supported platforms, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are implemented and tracked to closure.

• Plan and coordinate platform onboarding, migrations, upgrades, integrations and service changes, with appropriate testing, approvals, communications and rollback arrangements.

• Maintain accurate platform documentation, standard operating procedures, service records, support guides, governance records and audit evidence.

• Manage internal stakeholder and vendor engagement relating to platform support, licensing, service performance, delivery commitments and issue resolution.

• Identify and manage platform risks, vulnerabilities, capacity constraints and improvement opportunities, ensuring appropriate ownership, prioritization and remediation.

• Provide technical guidance, coaching and operational leadership to DevOps engineers and other platform support resources.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Relevant experience managing or supporting enterprise OSS governance, DevSecOps or software supply chain platforms

• Strong knowledge of open-source software risks, including licensing obligations, intellectual property considerations, security vulnerabilities, component provenance and end-of-life risks.

• Familiarity with OSS management, artifact repository and software supply chain security solutions, such as Sonatype Nexus, GitHub, container registries or equivalent platforms.

• Experience managing operational controls, access management, monitoring, audit evidence and service documentation for enterprise platforms.

• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source code management, build pipelines, artifact management, container technologies and deployment automation.

• Experience with technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes, or equivalent enterprise tooling.

• Strong automation and scripting skills, preferably using Python, Bash or other relevant languages.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to assess complex risks, determine root causes and drive issues through resolution.

• Ability to translate technical, security and licensing risks into clear operational requirements and actionable guidance for application teams and business stakeholders.

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Group functions and Local Business Units.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop policies, operating procedures, risk reports and governance materials.

• Demonstrated ability to lead operational improvements, coach team members and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
