Senior Level Communications Opportunities: Communications Director positions
- Qualified candidates demonstrate the ability to build and manage a dynamic communications operation for a statewide candidate in a competitive election cycle. Qualified candidates have experience managing staff and/or consultants and building and implementing a comprehensive communication and messaging strategy, working with a Campaign Manager and other senior staff. Candidates also have a demonstrated record of pitching stories, cultivating relationships with members of the media, and have 3+ years of campaign communications experience working at a statewide level either in an official office or in a campaign capacity, including on-the-record experience. Preferred qualifications, responsibilities, and duties vary by campaign.

- Qualified candidates have knowledge of multiple aspects of a communications shop. Qualified candidates should have superb writing skills and significant experience drafting written communications materials, including press releases, op-eds, and social media content. Candidates also have demonstrated experience executing an earned media strategy, including pitching stories or public events, cultivating relationships with reporters, and/or creating and distributing talking points. Ideal candidates have two to three years of work experience in political communications with at least one cycle of experience working at a statewide level either in an official office or in a campaign capacity. Entry Level Communications Opportunities: Press Assistant to Media Monitor
- Qualified candidates have a solid work ethic, strong writing skills, an in-depth knowledge of current events, and a desire to help Democratic Governors and candidates win.
