Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

About the Position: This position is located at 87th Medical Group, MTF McGuire, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Perform difficult and complex diagnostic procedures.

Receive patients, explain method of procedure, position patient, select and set technical factors, set up and adjust accessory equipment, and make exposures necessary for the requested procedure.

Assure that sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, or other required materials are available and in place.

Prepare and administer contrast media orally, by enema, or intravenously under close control of a radiologist.

Maintain records of patients examined, examinations performed, views taken, and technical factors used.

Assist radiologists in performing specialized and invasive procedures.
