Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Diagnostic Radiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Broadway. Opportunity Details:
- Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information from records and referring physicians.
- Perform and interpret imaging procedures, including General Radiography, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound.
- Administer contrast agents and radiopaque substances (by injection, orally) to render internal structures visible on x-ray films and fluoroscopic screens, recognizing and treating procedure-related complications.
- Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses and coordinate radiology services with other medical activities.
- Maintain quality control of images and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
