Diagnostics Engineer

General Summary
Diagnostics Engineer in the Product Engineering Department. Support research and development of new capabilities in scan diagnostics, drive features into high-volume yield learning environment. Collaborate with design-for-test, product engineering, test engineering, and failure analysis departments while working on leading edge semiconductor technologies.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Investigate defects found in silicon and compare them to logic diagnosis for the purpose of improving diagnosis algorithms and tools, and supporting various development projects. Use of cross-functional software tools including yield management platform, logic diagnosis, VLSI CAD navigation, and an array of custom utilities.

IT Core Competencies
Linux basics: creating/managing/editing directories and files.
Intermediate MS Excel skills: managing large sets of data, filter, sort, formulas, and pivot tables.

Required Competencies
Clear and concise communication, teamwork, strong analytical skills, MS Office.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, will consider college students in engineering programs.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

Additional Competencies
Experience with one or more of the following: DFT, ATPG, Diagnostics, Data Analysis, Linux, Perl/Python.
