Summary

Oversee a dialysis center’s daily operations, ensuring safe patient treatments, staff supervision, and strict infection control in a clinical setting.

  • Overall supervision and management of the dialysis centre operations.

  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis treatments.

  • Coordinate daily dialysis schedules as per nephrologist orders.

  • Verify and implement dialysis prescriptions accurately.

  • Supervise patient assessment before, during, and after dialysis.

  • Monitor vital signs and manage dialysis-related complications (hypotension, cramps, reactions).

  • Ensure proper vascular access care (AV fistula, graft, catheter).

  • Handle dialysis emergencies and coordinate code response.

  • Maintain strict infection control practices within the unit.

  • Ensure isolation protocols for Hepatitis B, C, or other infectious cases.

  • Monitor and maintain RO plant and water quality parameters.

  • Ensure proper disinfection of dialysis machines after each session.

  • Supervise dialysis nurses and technicians.

  • Prepare duty rosters and allocate staff assignments.

  • Ensure adequate staffing for smooth functioning of all shifts.

  • Conduct staff performance evaluations.

  • Maintain inventory of dialyzers, consumables, and medications.

  • Prevent stock shortages and monitor usage control.

  • Ensure maintenance and servicing of dialysis machines.
