Are you a skilled diesel mechanic who thrives in a hands-on environment and loves a good mechanical challenge? Join our Mountain Operations team, where you’ll keep our snow groomers and heavy equipment running safely and efficiently all year long. If you enjoy troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems and working outdoors in a setting most mechanics never get to see, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do:
Are you a skilled diesel mechanic who thrives in a hands-on environment and loves a good mechanical challenge? Join our Mountain Operations team, where you’ll keep our snow groomers and heavy equipment running safely and efficiently all year long. If you enjoy troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems and working outdoors in a setting most mechanics never get to see, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and drivetrains on heavy equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on snow groomers, loaders, excavators, tractors, and other mountain operations equipment.
- Fabrication & Welding: Handle welding, fabrication, and general equipment repairs as needed.
- Service Records: Maintain accurate service records and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Emergency Response: Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with emergency repairs during mountain operations.
- Support Operations: Work closely with the Mountain Operations team to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment technician, or similar mechanical role.
- Skills: Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Independence: Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment on your own.
- Bonus Skills: Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Snow groomer or tracked equipment experience is a plus, but not required.
- Physical Capability: Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- License: A valid driver’s license is required.
