A Advanced Septic and Construction Services is a fast-growing civil construction company based in Auburn, WA. We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Diesel Mechanic (Shop Technician) to join our dedicated team full-time. This role plays a critical part in keeping our fleet and equipment running safely and efficiently across various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel and gas vehicles and construction equipment.
• Conduct hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair for light to heavy-duty trucks.
• Carry out routine services, including LOF inspections and annual DOT inspections.
• Maintain and repair a wide range of fleet vehicles and machinery, from mini to full-size equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Complete in-shop and on-site repairs.
• Assist with custom fabrication of tools and parts for specific tasks.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records (Excel proficiency required).
• Follow all company and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–10+ years of diesel and heavy equipment mechanic experience, preferably in a fleet environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
• Proficient in welding and fabrication.
• Skilled in diagnostics across all systems (hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, etc.).
• Experience maintaining mixed fleets (gas and diesel, light to heavy-duty vehicles, construction equipment).
• Valid WA State Driver’s License (required).
• CDL & DOT Certification in Air Brakes (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and on job sites as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years mechanical experience (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Reliable commute or willingness to relocate to Auburn, WA before starting
