Diesel Mechanic -Mobile Diagnostics
Summary
Diagnose and repair heavy and medium-duty trucks at customer locations using computerized equipment and specialized tooling, performing preventative maintenance, brakes, AC, and battery repairs.
The primary function of the Diesel Technician Mobile Service Technician is to diagnose and complete repairs on heavy and medium-duty trucks, not in a shop setting. The mobile technician will do maintenance and repair jobs at our customer locations. This is not Road Side Work. The tasks will include updates, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, batteries, part replacement, brakes, and air conditioning repairs.
Diesel Technician Mobile Service Technician Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform recommended routine maintenance procedures.
- Perform diagnostic tests for issues failures and performance
- Determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
- Routinely use computerized equipment and specialized tooling.
- Completes assigned repairs and tasks in a timely and safe manner.
- Accurately records time, cause and correction on repair orders.
- Test components that may require to drive trucks before and after repairs.
- Participate and completes technical training and professional development.
