Diesel Mechanic

Texas Fueling Services is currently seeking a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic for nights, who is wanting to be part of a collaborative team environment.
This position requires in-depth expertise of the electrical, electronic systems, and components of gas and diesel engines.

Shifts Available: Night Shift
Hours: 50 - 60 Hours a Week
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
Job Type: Full-time

Requirements:

• Must have own tools
• Minimum of 1 years of Diesel Mechanic experience

Preferred:

• CDL A (Hazmat and Tanker endorsement a plus)
• Knowledge of DOT Fleet Compliance
• ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic
• Certified Vehicle State Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently and accurately diagnose and troubleshoot problems on gas and diesel engines and make all critical engine repairs and adjustments
• Fleet Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance
• Maintenance on Trailers and Automated Fueling Units
• Accurately complete all paperwork including work order, repair information, information for state inspections, paperwork needed for DOT compliance
• Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standards.
• Knowledge of A/C system, brake system, emissions systems, air systems and diagnostic /troubleshooting, diesel engines and trailer assemblies.
• Perform engine and component rebuild without supervision
• Other job duties may be assigned
