Requirements
Atomic Transport is a leader in the Bulk Waste Hauling Industry. We are currently looking for a diesel technician with 2 years’ experience in the Wilmington, NC terminal to assist in sustaining our fleet. Atomic Transport operates a fleet of over 350 tractors and 600 trailers! Our fleet consists of Kenworth’s, Freightliners, and Macks. Consistent M-F schedule, rotational Saturdays, ability to work early morning and evening depending on the location needs- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
- Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.
- Knowledge of engine diagnostic software.
- Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Diagnose problems and plan repairs.
- Perform road-side service calls.
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
- Must have own basic hand tools.
- Specialty and larger tools will be provided.
