Program Focus
This program is designed for students who are actively pursuing a career as a diesel mechanic/technician. Participants will develop real-world skills in equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, preparing them for long-term success in the heavy equipment and diesel technology field.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with reconditioning and repairing heavy equipment and components
- Perform diagnostic inspections as directed by lead technicians
- Maintain accurate records for time, parts, and supplies
- Care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
