Alto Grayslake is hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide for just two evenings per week — Mondays and Wednesdays, done by 7pm every shift. If you're looking for a light, consistent schedule that fits around your life and genuinely enjoy being around people — this is it.
What You'll Do:

Serve evening meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents who truly appreciate it
Greet and assist residents throughout the dining experience
Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout service
Support meal service from start to finish
Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every meal feel special

You're a Great Fit If You:

Have server experience in senior living or a restaurant setting — preferred
Are warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoy being around people
Are dependable with consistent Monday and Wednesday availability
Food Handler Certificate required — can be obtained after hire
No other certifications required

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
Areas of Responsibility

Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
Food serving experience preferred.
