Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our professional dining team. With three shift options available, we can find a schedule that works for your life — in a large, vibrant community where the dining experience is a daily highlight for residents.
Shift Options:
Early Shift | 7:00am–2:30pmMid Shift | 10:30am–8:30pmEvening Shift | 4:00pm–8:30pm
What You'll Do:
Serve meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents who truly appreciate it
Greet and assist residents and guests throughout the dining experience
Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout every shift
Deliver and retrieve trays as needed and support meal service from start to finish
Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every meal feel special
What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel dining, an Assisted Living facility, or fine dining — required
Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Dependable, team-oriented, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service
No certifications required

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
Areas of Responsibility
Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.

Food serving experience preferred.
