Position Summary

Hillview Senior Living & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food service, kitchen sanitation, and ensuring residents receive nutritious, appealing meals in a clean and safe environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Meal Preparation & Food Service

• Assist dietary cooks with preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.

• Prepare meal trays and ensure food items are served according to resident dietary orders and preferences.

• Follow prescribed therapeutic diets, portion sizes, and modified food textures as directed.

• Assist with delivering and collecting meal trays from resident rooms and dining areas.

• Ensure meals are served promptly and at appropriate temperatures.

• Assist residents with meal selections and communicate dietary concerns to the appropriate staff.

• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
