Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in Henderson, KY. The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents, ensuring dietary guidelines and safety standards are met. This role is essential in supporting the nutritional needs and overall well-being of our community members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to prescribed diets and menus.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of food supplies.
• Follow all dietary guidelines and special instructions for residents with specific nutritional needs.
• Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Report any concerns or issues related to food quality or safety to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or dietary aide role is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
