General Job Description
Participate in the daily operation of the Dietary Department to provide daily nutritional requirements to residents and guests. Assist with maintaining sanitary work site environment.
Essential Functions
- Consistently demonstrate the core values and mission of the facility.
- Set-up Dining area according to established requirements.
- Prepare Dining area for special guests.
- Know resident diet plans and place settings.
- Serve meals to residents and quests as required.
- Clean and stock each kitchenette.
- Complete daily sanitation requirements following established procedures.
- Assist cooks in meal preparation and service.
- Store laundry in correct location.
- Take soiled linens to laundry and pre-treat.
- Store inventory in correct locations.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Actively encourage and promote quality customer service and teamwork on a daily basis.
- Assist with special functions as needed.
