Processes patient dietary orders and ensures correct therapeutic meals are delivered at proper temperatures in a hospital setting.
Overview
Shift’s Available: Days or Evenings; Monday -Friday
Schedule:7am - 3:30pm or 11pm - 7:30am; Alternating weekends
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the dietitian, performs the necessary clinical support functions related to approving therapeutic menu selections and ensuring accuracy as well as appropriate temperatures of patient trays.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred.
- One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred.
County Specific requirement.
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
